Creative Leader, Consultant & Speaker — Exploring the Art of Emotion, Culture & Connection
I’ve always been fascinated by how things feel. Whether it’s the energy of a room, the flow of a story, or the rhythm of a community, I notice how humans connect through emotion.
My work is rooted in that awareness. Over the last decade, as Co-founder and Creative Director of GirlDreamer, I’ve built inclusive spaces and initiatives that empower new generations to belong and thrive. That journey taught me something profound: design and leadership are not separate; they’re both acts of feeling.
From a young age, I’ve been guided by intuition and emotional intelligence. Those instincts became my compass, helping me navigate challenges, identity, and ambition – from dropping out of university in my first week to building one of the UK’s pioneering non-profit organisations for women of colour, and later, studying in New York City as an Obama Scholar.
Along the way, I discovered that creativity isn’t limited to art or design – it lives in how we think, relate, and build meaning. My journey has been one of transforming emotion into insight, and insight into action.
Today, I channel that philosophy into creative and cultural consultancy – helping brands and institutions translate emotion into experience. I guide leaders and teams to consider not just what people see, but what they sense. Because when we design for feeling, we design for connection – and connection is what transforms a moment into meaning.
Whether through storytelling, consulting, or speaking, I aim to make the unseen – emotion, culture, belonging – visible and intentional. That’s where true creativity lives.

Evolving into a new era of creative leadership
Throughout the past decade, my journey has been one of creative exploration, emotional mastery, and leadership in motion.
I’ve moved between worlds, from grassroots communities to global stages, from conversations about belonging to boardrooms discussing innovation. I’ve experienced the quiet joy of human connection in its purest form and the complex energy of power, privilege, and possibility.
These experiences have shaped the lens through which I see the world. They’ve taught me that leadership is not about status, it’s about sensitivity, and that creativity begins where lived experience meets awareness.
Today, I bring that awareness into everything I create, from consulting with brands to speaking on global stages. My work is rooted in emotional intelligence, intuition, and the belief that the most powerful design tool we have is how we make people feel.
My education has been lived, not lectured. Through a decade of leadership, creation, and curiosity, I’ve developed an instinctive understanding of people – how we think, feel, and interact with the world around us. That lived expertise forms the foundation of my work today.
In 2016, my best friend and I co-founded GirlDreamer – a non profit organisation dedicated to empowering women of colour to lead, dream, and redefine what success looks like.
What began as a personal vision for representation has evolved into a global platform, recognised by Forbes 30 Under 30 and the Obama Foundation, supporting thousands of women to pursue leadership, adventure, and self-discovery.
GirlDreamer will always be my foundation – a testament to what happens when purpose meets creativity. It’s where I learnt that leadership, when rooted in empathy and authenticity, can change entire worlds.
My days are guided by rhythm – moments of stillness, movement, and reflection that shape how I create and connect.
Mornings often begin with light, music, and motion – a slow ritual of grounding before the day unfolds. Evenings, by contrast, are quieter; they belong to reflection, writing, and the kind of silence where creativity breathes.
These small disciplines aren’t about productivity; they’re about presence. They remind me that creativity begins not in output, but in alignment.
My creativity lives at the intersection of nature, culture, and human story.
I draw inspiration from light, texture, and space – from architecture to the ocean, from conversation to culture. Every encounter becomes a layer in my creative process, shaping how I think about belonging, emotion, and design.
To me, creativity isn’t about invention; it’s about translation – taking what the world offers and giving it new meaning.
